Rockwell Hardness Testing

The Rockwell test is one of the most widely used hardness tests in industry thanks to its speed and the clarity of its results. We use Rockwell hardness testing as part of our quality-control procedures to verify the outcomes of:

• Quenching and tempering (Quench & Temper)
• Heat treatment of tool steels and die/mold steels
• Incoming/outgoing inspection in accordance with customer requirements

Ultrasonic Surface/Case Hardness Testing (UCI)

This test is suitable for parts that require quick measurements, or when the part’s geometry or conditions do not suit some conventional hardness testing methods. It helps us with:

• Evaluating hardness on surface-treated components
• Comparing hardness across different areas of the same part
• Supporting faster accept/reject decisions
